YPIC (Young Professionals for International Cooperation)

Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC) is a program of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) that seeks to engage young professionals in discussions of international affairs, emphasizing the importance of multilateral cooperation and the United Nations. While we appreciate supporters of all ages, YPIC members are typically between the ages of 21-40, and are a diverse group of individuals from the fields of business, law, government, nonprofit, the arts and philanthropy. YPIC provides an exciting opportunity to interact with like-minded individuals and gives young professionals from all walks of life a unique forum in which to learn more about current international issues, the United Nations, and the work of UNA-USA.

United Nations Student Alliance

Initiated by three student Board Members of the UNA Seattle Chapter, in coordination with the UNA-USA in New York: The United Nations Student Alliance was founded at the University of Washington in 2003. A group of graduate and undergraduate students created a space for students to raise awareness of the UN and its work on college campuses and in the greater community in Seattle along with the larger UNA Seattle Chapter of which our members are also part. Many of the students involved in the United Nations Student Alliance have experience with Model United Nations and were looking for a way to continue involvement in UN-related activities. The Student Association provides the opportunity to continue in education of the UN, and to participate actively in public forums to advocate the principles and work of the UN in our community. The United Nations Student Association is open to all local area high school and college students as well as young professionals for membership. Contact Us through the UNA Seattle. Check the UNA Calendar tab for a schedule of our meetings and events, open to the public.
